The first sitting of the Committee on Civil and Family Law under the Bar Council of Odesa.

The Committee on Civil and Family Law under the Bar Council of Odesa region was created in November 2014. As planned, this Committee should become the place for discussion of the most important questions of law enforcement practice involving judges, notaries, officers of judicial authorities and advocates.

The first sitting of the Committee on Civil and Family Law under the Bar Council of Odesa together with Civil chamber of the Court of Appeal of Odesa region have taken place on 19 February 2015 in the conference hall “Siettle” (Impact Hub Odesa).

The main purpose of the event was a discussion of the problem questions on credit legal relations, including the judicial practice concerning the grounds of guarantee termination.

Amongst the participants of the discussion were the chairman of the Committee – Volodymyr Zubar, deputy chairman of the Bar Council of Odesa region – Andriy Kostin, Secretary of the Civil chamber – Andriy Dryshliuk, the head of the Centre of law research named by Savinii – Oleg Kutateladze, as well as other practicing advocates.
